Redstone's Standard Options
Do Redstone homes come standard with any outside accent lighting?
All houses built by Redstone have 120-volt accent lighting that illuminates the front of all houses.
What type of flooring is used in the kitchens built by Redstone?
All kitchens come standard with tile flooring and tile backsplash. However, as an upgrade, Redstone will work with the homeowner to select any flooring of your choice, including, but not limited to wood floors, marble floors, etc.
What type of fireplace mantels are used in Redstone homes?
All standard fireplace mantels are made of pre-cast stone. As an upgrade, Redstone can customize a fireplace mantel using materials of your choice, including, but not limited to marble, slate, etc.
What is the standard HVAC unit used in homes built by Redstone?
As an energy efficient builder, a minimum 12-seer HVAC unit is used in all homes built by Redstone. Using a 12-seer HVAC unit or greater will provide the homeowner significant cost savings.
What types of windows are standard with homes built by Redstone?
All Redstone homes are built with David windows. These energy efficient windows are “Low-E” glass and are double-paned, which not only reduces your electric bill, but also reduces fading of furniture and finishes.
What appliances are standard in homes built by Redstone?
All houses built by Redstone come standard with glass top ranges, built in microwave, dishwasher, an extra deep 8-inch kitchen sink, and a garbage disposal.
How many ceiling fans come standard in homes built by Redstone?
All Redstone homes come standard with ceiling fans in the living room and master bedroom. At no charge, other bedrooms are blocked and pre-wired for ceiling fans.
Homebuilding Options
As a homebuyer, do we have the option to pick our own brick, paint, flooring, countertops, etc?
At Redstone Construction, we strive to offer you a selection of personalizing options in order to accommodate your needs and your sense of style. When building a home with Redstone, your options are limitless. All homebuyers have the option to choose their brick, interior paint, exterior paint, tile, carpet, appliances, lighting, countertops and marble vanity tops in bathrooms.
Can I pick my own light fixtures?
As a homebuyer, you will be provided with a generous lighting budget. With this budget, you will be able to pick out your own fixtures at a location that is used by Redstone.
As a homebuyer, can I chooses the hardware finish (including, but not limited to door knobs, towel bars, toilet paper holder, etc.)?
As a homebuyer, you will have the following standard options for your hardware finish: brass, nickel or antique brass.
What if I do not like any of the house plans that Redstone offers?
If you do not like any of the house plans that Redstone offers, Redstone will work with you to have an architect draw custom plans to fit your needs. If you have a house plan that you have already found, Redstone can work from that as well.
Can Redstone build on a lot that we have already purchased?
Redstone is not limited to building only on those lots owned by Redstone. We can build on any lot that you as the homebuyer may have already purchased or may be looking to purchase.

How long does it take Redstone Construction (“Redstone”) to build a house?
It takes approximately 90 days for Redstone to build a house. Redstone is always committed to going that extra mile in order meet any and all deadlines.
Does Redstone build an energy efficient house?
At Redstone Construction, we care about the environment and we care about saving you money. That's why Redstone Construction is a proud builder of energy efficient homes. By building an energy efficient home, money isn't all you're saving! You are also making a difference in protecting the environment. All houses built by Redstone exceed the IECC State Required Energy Code. Some examples of the energy efficient features of our homes include: Rapid Recovery water heaters, High efficiency HVAC units, Insulation to keep your home the right temperature year round, Double-paned windows, and Ceiling fans.
What kind of warranty does Redstone provide?
Redstone offers a Limited One-Year Builders Warranty. This warranty will cover labor/materials.
What R-Value insulation is used in the attic?
R-38 or greater is the minimum standard insulation used in all attics.
What type of foundations does Redstone use?
Redstone uses post tension cables in all slabs. All foundations are designed and inspected by a licensed engineer.
What types of doors are used in Redstone homes?
All interior doors are attractive 6 panel colonial doors.

Where is Little Elm?
Little Elm is Northwest of Frisco, located on the Northern tip of Lake Lewisville. It’s in Denton county and around 20 minutes from the Toll way.
Where is Oak Point?
Oak Point is Northwest of Little Elm, located on the Northern tip of Lake Lewisville. It’s in Denton county and around 25 minutes from the Toll way.
